Hi,
I am getting a lot of iexplore.exe error message when I am running
slimserver and I had to close the window.
Is anybody having same probelem?
Is there any way to fix this?

In a way that's good. I started having these problems around the time I
installed Defender (and upgraded Slimserver) - I can now rule that out
as the cause. Cheers

What sort of error
I've got a similar problem. I've used album cover art downloader - I
finally found it on the web here BTW spakling:

It worked pretty well and has installed image files (where it could
find them) named folder.jpg into each album folder. I use
total newbee.so please be patient !
if I place the artwork jpg in the album folder ...do I call the artwork
by the album name ...
then what do I set in setup to view the covers ?
this is probably covered elsewhere I've just not found it !

No. You call the artwork one of a variety of generic names (such as
folder.jpg) and Slimserver will recognise it. I forget the full list
but if you go to server settings in Slimserver and then select
interface, scroll down and you will see a section on it. This section

You can select a whole directory. It's not fool-proof by any strectch
of the imagination but I found it a good start as I was trying to do

Just so I have this straight :
Open the stream at http://myip:9000/stream.mp3
open N800 skin and select NokiaIp, then play songs.
Might be that I wasn't driving the N800 skin to the right output.

I've just upgraded my wireless router to a new Airport Extreme and,

My guess is quality is important and not all internet radio streams are
FM quality - for example BBC Radio 3 is only a 40kbits RealAudio
stream whereas with a real Tuner you get full FM quality through a
sound card without lossy compression.

My SB1 and SB2 both save the current playlist and current song position
across an on/off cycle, but I haven't been able to persuade my SB3 to
do the same thing. It does happen sometimes, but seemingly of the
unit's own volition.

I've had good luck running the svn code on linux lately. Since you
already have slimserver installed, you ought to be able to install and
run the 6.5x branch pretty easily. This will give you all the latest
cool stuff in the 770 skin.

I did manage to reveal the encryption selection page which has a side
effect that allowed me to get it working.
1 - Select Enter network name
2 - The last network you connected to will be displayed. Change it
(first character will do) so that the name is incorrect

I have a SB which I've used on a secure (128-bit WEP) wireless network
for many years. I recently moved and in setting up the SB in my new
location, I find that I cannot get it to connect to my wireless network
if the network has a 64 or 128 bit key. It connects fine if I remove

What particular problem are you having? Maybe it is what you are
deleting with CC that is the problem
I do not let CC delete unused files extensions. This is the only

I just picked up a 4 gig today. I would have got an 8 but they sold out
5 minutes before I made it to the store... :-(
That said...it freak'n rocks! Works perfect as a Slim remote and
switches to WiFi seemlessly. Best smartphone I have ever used.
