I think the only way you could do this seamlessly is with a second
wireless access point upstairs (connected by wire to the downstairs).
And then only if the Controller was able to do wireless roaming, which
it doesn't yet.

I've got two of them for driving patio speakers. Great price, too. They
have two inputs, power auto sensing and a loop-thru on the first input
to send the same source to multiple amps... how I use it. Info here...
I don't know what the limitations exactly are, but coverart sized bigger
than 500x500 pixel rarely showed up in the web interface or Squeezeplay
for me. Resizing to a smaller size made them be displayed.

IMHO insufficient battery life is on of few minuses for Squeezebox Duet

Before upgrading to SC 7.1, I had uninstall Softsqueeze 3.6... thinking
I was would upgrade to a newer version of Softsqueeze that came with SC
7.1 (installing from the settings menu). However, I don't see the
option to install it under SC's settings menu. I couldn't find a
download URL for

3.6 comes included in 7.1 and the webstart link is on the home page under
Extras. If you want access to the jar files, then you can find them in
HTML/EN/html/softsqueeze

it it does it for all tracks. Restarting the squeezecentre normally
sorts it out. I've enabled LASTFM and I'm not sure if that is causing
the problem. Disabled crossfade and it made no difference. Hopefully it

I used the plugin for a bit and then found it to not work well with my
updated squeezecenter so I quickly abandoned using it.
But in defense of amazon downloads, I do download regularly from amazon
as well as emusic. I think my last physical cd purchase was in early

SC does not find all my albums. Newly added albums to my collection are
rarely found. I scan, I rescan, I moved my collection to an other
harddisk. No joy.
