I find that the download speed of software upgrades from this site is
very slow - both the current SLimserver as well as nightlies.
I live in South Africa and our intrenet speeds are not as fast as many

Have you considered X10 or something similar? Put the amp on an X10
switch, add an X10 sender to your SC server and run a plugin like
PowerCenter. Only obvious issue is lack of SN suport.

Has anyone noticed their last.fm accounts registering multiple scrobbles
for a single play when playing through synced players, both/all of which
are set to scrobble? A couple nights ago, I played an album through a
SoftSqueeze instance, which I didn't realize was synced with my living

actually, while filing the bug, i found the full-screen spectrum
analyzer wasnt working for me anyways. some of my vorbis files soar up
to 530 kbit/s and beyond (!), which cause my SBs to stutter and
"rebuffer" when the spectrum analyzer is running.
