I have had different Squeezeboxes including the Transporter. But my
first Squeezebox 2 is still amongst my favorite due to its low profile
form factor.
But for some reason the case has gone all sticky and gummy on me.
I cannot find a replacement case in the Slim accessories store. Does

Hi there,
Great app, running on a HTC Touch HD. Especially like
the way WiFi comes on when you start the app and the album covers for
internet radio (Radio Paradise).

I get a number of these when Squeezecenter tries to open. It initially
fails to start, but if I try again, and then again, it seems these
errors have no effect and SqueezeCenter starts in the end. Very weird.
Never happened before the upgrade to 7.3.3, this on a Vista 64 bit
system.
Could my problem be due to not being able to write the password with the
letters in caps? Had the same problem with my Wii, but turned on caps
and it connected. Any help would be really appreciated!

I'm not saying there isn't a real problem here. However, it still seems
like the vast majority of people (me, for example) have not experienced
this problem at all, so I just want to remind people that nothing
changed in my system is not equivalent to nothing changed. Two
things come to mind:
Thats always an option. The SB1 and SB2 were the best units for this due

My question to you all is...I have set up compilation albums called Best
of the 70s, Best of the 80s...ect. I checked all the id tags first and
they seemed correct but the Squeezebox shows 4 albums called Best of the

I checked all the id tags first
Probably a mixture of ID3v1/ID3v2/Vorbis tags. You need mp3tag to clean
tags, read the wiki.
Also, I find it helpful to set the COMPILATION tag so that
Squeezecenter isn't guessing.

By Duet, do you mean the handheld controller? I'm assuming so since
you said you will sell your receiver.
The handheld controller (SBC) displays artwork, artist/title/album, and
a progress bar similar to what you would see on just about any mp3
player.
The receiver commonly sells for $150

I don't think it shows up by default.
You have to go into the config screen of Custom Browse and add the
built in Bitrate to the menus.
I've just tried it and it works for me.

How do I put new ones in. I feel I have done this TOTALLY wrong or in

I guess restoring the files from your backup isn't an option?
If so, you'll have to do it the hard way. Post on the mp3tag forums
for advice on how to use bits of your filename/folder structure to tag
your fiels, if that applies.
e.g. my folders are organised artist\album\track

I've got a SB1 and Boom (all wired connections) which I've been playing
sync'ed together. It's really hit and miss, 80% it's fine, other times
the SB1 insists on dragging its' feet 3 or 4 seconds behind the Boom.
Just yesterday I bought a SB3 to replace the SB1, does that tell you
enough? LOL.
I have an Omnia with WM6.5. This is so cool to get home and hit the
music and never need to remember where the remote is because my phone is
always in my pocket. Thank you for creating this application.
