at the same time, have you considered albumartistsort which SBS has

There is a way to setup the SB3 to Auto Update (no remote needed) but
ironically this requires a remote to select this setting.
Any chance of borrowing a JVC DVD player remote one time to do so?
Or borrowing a universal remote with a JVC DVD code input?
Other than that I think you are out of luck.

Of course, you'll find plenty in the General Discussion forum as well.

Why is the top feature of this Internet Radio not the ability to
reconnect to an internet radio station when the internet signal drops in
speed or hiccups? Who wants to listen to silence? Did the designers
expect everybody to have screaming fast broadband?

I believe this started when the website was redesigned recently, but
when you want to play an entire album with these services via the
website remote control, the squeezebox refuses to do so. So you are
stuck with playing individual tracks that will repeat themselves. I

I have found that rebuffering problem can be partly cured by setting up
Artwork resizing instead of Artwork resampling in Squeezebox Server -
Advanced - Performance tab. Also the Classic skin seems to be less
demanding of bandwith than the Default skin.

The easiest way would be go with either a Duet (Receiver), Classic or

Unfortunately 320x320 is the one thing that never worked out right.
I've made several attempts in 0.98 to properly handle 320x320 screens.
Plus I implemented a new GUI layout.
But SControl does not recognize this resolution.
Thanks for reminding me of the 0.98 release note.

On your site you refer to 320x320 as a new feature in 0.98. Since you're
releasing 1.0 beta, does that mean you've added 320x320 support?

I'm running backlevel sofware so I don't know about Squeezebox Server
but there is a timeout value that you can specify which determines how
long the Squeezebox will attempt to reconnect before timing out. Upping
that value may help. By the way, 100K is no where near "broadband".

I agree it's frustrating but at least the remote or controller will
allow you to start play so you are not totally down. I prefer to use the
Rhapsody or Napster clients to search for music and create playlists,
faster easier to use than mysb.com.

I won't ask about the age of your parents. But it looks that their setup
