I've not explicitly set 'library integration' and, although I've had a
good look around the settings and forum cannot find the location of the
setting.
However, I have just noticed my plugins needed updating so did that and
then performed a 'clear and rescan' and now everything is OK.

For some reason an album is appearing twice in my very well ordered
local library. (One instance is because I hold the album as local
files). The duplicate album has what appears to be a Spotify icon on it.

appears in my libra

Is the headphone out on your Beresford DAC independent of the main line

Interesting box. Of course I have the Apple DAC Dongle; and of course I
am not using the DAC in the Chromecast Audio Dongle
@LABARUM
Brian, don't buy anything until I have a rummage.
I know for sure I have a spare connecter for the Apple dongle and I
might have a usb-spdif converter somewhere that would let you use the

If the config has options for "flip horizontal" and "flip vertical" try
turning both on. I found I had to do this for my screen on Squeezeamp,
since rotate 180 had no effect.

On one of my Pis I use one of these which has the 3.5mm/Optical you are
talking about.
I did have to adjust the volume up a bit using alsamixer and then saving
the resultant settings. There is a thread somewhere that explains how.

That makes my cheap headphones much more useable. (Not that I will be

The output was set to headphones, but as I said was not driving hard.
Not a problem, kidstypike, I absolutely delighted with my new Pi. I
won't be using the 3.5mm jack. I was just exploring. I wonder if some
future evolution will include one of those hybrid 3.5mm sockets that is
also an optical o

But tell me about the headphone socket on the PC. I plugged in a pair of
cheap, sensitive headphones - nothing. I turned the software volume
control right up and could hear the music - but it was not loud even at
max volume. Is that 3.5mm jack socket more of a line out?
I switched to generic US

The rotate setting only works with the official rpi 7" screen.
Try adding SDL_VIDEO_FBCON_ROTATION variable to your jivelite.sh script
with the rotation type.
For example one of
Code:
EXPORT SDL_VIDEO_FBCON_ROTATION=UD
or
EXPORT SDL_VIDEO_FBCON_ROTATION=CW

Having turned my old PC off in favour of a Raspberry Pi to run LMS I am
wondering if I am hearing a cleaner sound.
I am now using LMS with Castbridge on rPi to a Google Chromecast Audio
dongle, and using an optical link into a Beresford 7510 DAC driving a
pair of Sennheiser HD25 headphones.
