It can't have "erased" artwork...temporarily not having it in its cache
is rather different.
I would expect a full clear/rescan to fix this. IS the real problem
that you are having scanner issues?

Maybe it's just me but I find WMP the most confusing and annoying
interface ever (well, nearly ever).
I'd much rather use the remote or controller to

hat has its case bonded to earth at all times is usually
OK.
The "hum" must be coming from a nearby mains transformer in one of your
equipment items. By turning off (say) the DAC but leaving eh buffer
running should tell you if it is teh dac or the buffer...
You could try wrapping the cabl
version of 7.x you feel comfortable with. I use 7.2
(8th July nightly) and it is rock-solid.
3) if you hit problems get back on here and we can sort it out
7.x rocks over 6.5.x

It's odd that there is no network connection on L1 (as L2 is fine if
I'm following you).
Sounds like you need to add a new wireless network connection on L1,

No not the SB... it can't do 24/96
I mean 26/94 out of the TACT into the Linn... nothing to do wit
My 5103 plays back 96/24 streams perfectly ...and takes the 24-bit
output from my SB or TACT processor just fine.
The DAC's and ADC's in the 5103 are all 96/24
dts mimimum spec is 48/24...
I love my dozen or so HDCD rips (at 48/24).

replaygain). Also check that replaygain is turned off in SC (settings -

Are you playing FLAC or WAV?
I think you need to have FLAC-FLAC (native) set and FLAC-WAV (disabled)
for this to work. (in settings - advanced - file types)

Apart from self-inflicted injuries from adventurous nightly downloads,
I've never had a serious problem that I couldn't solve myself in a few
mins or maybe a question or two on this forum. I've never called
support. It just works for me!

Actually that is a very fair and (IME) accurate point. It's easy to
forget those "golden" stable releases!
OK so most of these are pretty high-end but that's usually the trend.
Eventually there will be a trickle-down...
I'm pretty sure these guys are taking media servers VERY seriously.
I did say mainstream not "mass market" :o)
