I don't understand why Squeezecenter gets progressively worse with each
new version.

I'm using 7.2.1 now, as it seems to be the most recent version that
allows me to browse folders without timing out.

Squeezecenter to be really clunky - the type is too small, and if you
try to zoom in, it actually changes the layout of Squeezecenter in a
way that renders it unuseable (removes the options that were there

Anyway, I appreciate the efforts that were made to address this

I'm headed back to 7.2.1. Today I encountered the overbuffering issue,

remove the few resident programs

I play FLAC files. FLAC is certainly larger than mp3, etc. Maybe it's
just that Squeezecenter has more trouble streaming FLAC than other
formats.

display album art, it seems equipped for that sort of thing.
Btw, I'm using the Beta Squeezecenter with my SB3, and I think it's a
vast improvement over the old Slimserver. I like how much faster it
is; I imagine it will work quite
Squeezebox? If so, I'm not sure why anyone would
pay twice as much for the Duet controller, especially if the Harmony
remote can control other devices.

Long story short: if your playlists show the same file multiple times,
I recommend checking your shortcuts.

Hello, I'm looking to buy an old Squeezebox, preferably a wireless
version 2 model. Anyone looking to get rid of theirs? I've just
gotten a second amp, and now I'm looking for an inexpensive way to
spread my tunes throughout the house.
Thanks

er,
that would be cool. Right now, it seems kind of awkward that the SB3
goes blank whenever I shut off my computer.

Well, all the more reason why it should be able to display the clock
without SlimServer being connected, don't you
d think it would be a great benefit if
the SB3 just somehow defaulted to clock mode of its own volition. I
take it that it has to get the time from either the SlimServer or
Squeezenetwork, and that it can't just store the time on its own,
correct?

have the same problem all over again. This by far is the most
frustrating problem I've encountered using the SB3 - probably because I
run into it all the time.
Is there any way this can be remedied in the next firmware update?

I counted eight (8) different rewind speeds that you have to cycle

that the people who designed this function never really used it much.
