Having a PC running Windows plugged into the Internet directly, without
a real, hardware firewall in between, is a recipe for disaste

ULA for Microsoft Office has changed since the last
time I saw it, but these violate the last EULA I saw which says you are
only licensed to run Windows versions of Microsoft Office on genuine
Microsoft Windows.

I recently downloaded the new OpenOffice.org 2.0 for Linux. I have to
say that the new method used for installation is quite a bit more
annoying, time consuming, and troublesome than the old version that uses
an actual install program. I think OpenOffice.org should go back to
using the instal
ar as to say Microsoft considers this to be a problem they
are in the process of "fixing" (read: breaking utterly for anyone but
users of their products).

with your data. Eventually, you will lose the freedom to jump ship
thanks to the DMCA. Microsoft only cares that you keep using their
