I was just checking up the audio filter bandwidth and attenuation when
changing the bandwidth on my KX1. I used the NGEN noise generator and
fed the audio output to my soundcard and analyzed with Spectrogram.

have also blown the 1N5711 diode in the output power measurement circuit.

I've had my K2 kit for a few days and am about finished with the front panel.
Before proceeding I have a couple of concerns.
1) As instructed, I did not remove the covering from either side of the
diffuser backlight panel. However, I notice that it appears to have
separated during assembly.
The K2 has better overall performance and many more features. But the
Triton can hold its own under most conditions, at least on the non-WARC
bands.
The Triton is fine for rag chewing and some contest work. It helps to keep
the RF Gain control down a bit if the bands are crowded. The CW filters

The diffuser will do its job (spread light) even with the material bowed -
do nothing to correct it, it is not broken.
The resistance readings at J1 pins 16 and 17 should be the same as that
measured at U1 pins 2 and 1 (the signals are the same, and these points ar
connected).
I got to the first test stage tonight and while the rig came on with no
smoke there is nothing on the LCD display. I hear the relays clicking and
the backlight is on but no characters at all. The front panel is plugged in
fine and I reset it just to make sure. Dittos for the control board.

It has the Oven option for the 116MHz LO crystal.
I have noticed a frequency error on my overall system of about 200Hz,
but have been unable to track this down properly until I had
