Okay. Outlook just calls it plain text (no formatting for lines or fonts). It's a VERY common format and generally preferred since it allows the reader's computer do the wrapping. Looking at the QTH.NET archives, I see the same thing, but it's no longer the same format the e-mail sender posted.

My straight key has a stereo plug with the diodes, and my paddles has a stereo plug without diodes. They both plug into a small (Walkman sharer) stereo y-adapter in the back of my K2. I don't think I'll need a K3, but I'd just lose the adapter and not have to rewire my keys. Dan / WG4S / K2

Carey. You still need to do the TX Gain calibration. That's what is causing your error. Page 46/47 of the manual. Set power to 5W and hold TUNE for a couple seconds on ALL BANDS. Then, if you have the KPA3 installed, you need to do the same for ALL BANDS at 50W. Let me know how it goes. 73
