ought to do the trick if the CW speed is compatible with the APF

inexpensive 6-way MFJ switch remotely where the cables from my wire antennas
come down in the woods behind the house and a single low-loss coax to the
house. I currently use all 6 ports. The control is with a 100' CAT

I liked my Oticon aids so well that I talked my 87 year old mother into getting
some (she said she could hear quite well, thank you) ;o) Mine are very much
like yours in appearance and features.
The aids she got were the newest since I got mine and they are smaller and
thinner than an almond
The issue was resolved by turning up the line in (mic) gain and changing a
jumper inside the SignaLink USB which was set to it's lowest line out setting.

I've had a DX Engineering remote switch mounted on the tower that has operated
without failure for over 5 years. One coax line into the shack to another
switch that places the coax at the rig of choice. Easy and a pleasure to
operate.

Dave,
The sampling point for the K3's hardware AGC is before the DSP in the signal
path, so unfortunately the DSP filter does not protect the HAGC. The roofing
filters protect the HAGC.
There is another design approach to eliminating AGC pumping problems, but
that is another story :-)

me to have one 300' run of heliax into the shack. So I only need one antenna
output at present.

the -60dB BW of the DSP is (-6dB BW + 300Hz).
So at DSP BW = 2800 Hz,
BW60 = 3100 Hz.

OK, your comments helped me "figure" it out. What I have a is
three-conductor cable. By swapping the various wires around, I found
the two that worked. It ain't pretty, but :-) Now to get the
two-conductor version.

You were not hearing the effect of the 2.8 MHz roofing filter, but
instead the DSP filter.
In order to hear the effect of the 2.8 kHz filter skirt, you would have
to widen out the DSP bandwidth to max or greater. The DSP forms the
ultimate filter, and does have nearly vertical slope

can be configured as balanced or unbalanced.

Every time this comes up everyone seems to forget about the KRC2, it
speaks auxbus leaving the BCD outputs available for other things and is
a very flexible device
It does need 6m support to be properly sorted out but other than that it
does a superb job of controlling just about any remote antenn

recording both sides of a CW QSO and for using the CW sidetone alone to
drive "iCW" (the AA0HW Internet CW system that works very well for those

Since I already have antenna switching the way it needs to be with still
about 30% growth built in, I would prefer the tuner be small enough to
"stack" onto my P3.

were removed except the power cable. No mic or speakers hooked up either,
nothing. I am the builder and of course I felt I was very careful (hi).
