The easy way to do it:
Connect audio line-output from N1MM to the line-in (mono) of the K3 and
set the VOX to on. Set in the menu mic+lin to ON. This will allow the
pc and your mic to trigger the vox of the K3.

We do plan to add our fast "remote rig" protocol to the KX3. Initially
it will be for KX3-to-KX3 only, but we're talking about allowing a KX3
to control a remote K3 as well. The trick will be translating the
similar but not identical control sets.

It seems that the signs, dots and dahs, get to short working with this
setup. When I have been working with my Yaesu FT 1000 Field there is no

Am sending in the KRX3, SUB IN board, and possibly the KIO3 board today or

it's features are outstanding. I'm a little concerned with a input drive issues
on the 14 and 21mhz bands. It takes 49 watts on 14mhz and 50 watts on 21mhz to

have reset it to 008mS, and am checking it now for any further FAULTs as I

Well, as noted, it worked before, it works now, and it wasn't working
when the K3 was set to output 3 watts. Moreover, I changed nothing in
the K3, just re-booted t
I shorted the line to the amp and sure enough the * shows up. Hooked the line
backup to the Flex and still no *. So something has gone wonky in the Flex.

The AL80A is not the most modern of amplifier designs - but it works
well and is paid for. Is there a suggested keying/RF delay (transmit
delay) when using this amp? I never had a rig with adjustable delay before.

I was playing around with my K3 and MFJ 4225 switching power supply, when I
noticed a strange thing. As you increase the power output, the input current
rises very quickly. Example:
in Receive mode, the K3 was drawing 2 amps.
In Transmit mode, CW, SK key down, at 1 watt out, it was drawing 4 amps
