Yes, the P3 markers are good for measuring the frequency difference between two
signals.
If as well that difference (delta) could be shown textually on the P3 it would
be even better.

My K3, # 758 just arrived in Michigan from Aptos with the new 2nd receiver,DVR,
250HZ CW filters, upgraded DSP board and a P3 kit also. Now just have to wait

Bill is correct though, there is distortion when I have AGC=12 and SLP=2
but if I go to AGC=8 it appears to be almost gone.

Did two of these today. One had a subrx. One did not.
Instructions didn't mention that the subrx aux cable interferes with
pulling the K3's amp module. At least I was concerned about bending amp
connector pins if it were tried.
Ended up also removing the I/O board and pulling out the cable

As you say the instructions did not mention the Aux cable,
however I found that moving the cable to the rear of the K3
and then extracting the PA towards the front was no problem.
