The K3 stores input selection (mic - front | rear, or
line) and mic level/line level on a per mode and per
band basis. Have you set up the input and mic/line
levels correctly in DATA A/AFSK A on each band?

about 4 inches long and feels like two fabric layers glued together. It is
rough to the touch but not what I would call abrasive. In the e-mail that he

I've had this happen several times after the output power disappeared.
It appears to be that the RF ground return to the output connector is completed
through the "2D" block at the upper rear of the K3 (as viewed from the front.)

copy paper, printer paper, etc, all will do just fine - cut it into
narrow strips a couple inches long.

I am still having pitch problems with my 250HZ, 8 pole CW filter.
Have tried changing the side tone frequency and going into filter setup;
but, the received CW pitch thru the filter is still too high. I wish to
make the received pitch lower.
Anyone have any other suggestions?

It should not be doing that, and you don't have to use an external keyer
to get the best cw of any rig made in the world today. The K3's specialty
is cw. But I don't have the answer for you. If someone here doesn't have
