Long answer to a short question (and it's late, so apologies if any of
it doesn't make sense)...
To transmit in digital modes with HRD + DM780, you'll probably want to
connect the RS232 port on the K3 to a serial port on your PC, as well as
audio, but you can start of with receive-only
