Correction:
The PA station was running a Kenwood TS-570. His spur was down frequency
about 400Hz. I have also head spurs from SGC 2020's and TenTec Paragons both
caused by low PS voltage.

Just turn the rig on for the 1st time in several days. I have no RX audio
on USB.
LSB, CW, etc., OK. K3 # 1209, running 4.22.

If APF seems overly aggressive, try reducing the RX-EQ's 800 and/or 400 Hz
bands by a few DB. I'm finding the EQ settings reall affect how APF sounds.

I'm wondering if the sidetone could be routed through the APF? Using a
simple audio filter makes the sidetone sound sharper and cleaner and somehow
improves my sending ability.

Tried that. It was also too loud. The K3's fan is quiet. I also have the
little MFJ switcher. It is also too loud but good enough for occasional use
in the workshop.

I've got the Samlex 1235 with the meters. One of the meters was way off
calibration. When the fan kicks on, it's really loud. I quit using the thing
and got a nice Astron 35m which is totally silent. I hate fan noise.
