Hi Dick:
I just tested here and if power control set to any 5.x >
1
milliwatt (on each band) before any transmission.

Dick, nice utility. I've noticed an error can occur if the K3 is set to
lowish power when you start the calibration run. I had power set to 5.6
Watts and the 5 Watt cal routine failed. Setting the power to 35 Watts
allowed it all to run correctly. Apologies if this has already been noted.

Well DUH! I
I've got a duh of my own... I did enable TECH MD and looking at page
48 under transmitter gain in config I see no TXGN demonstrated; I see
Tx DLY, Tx ESSB and Tx GATE. Doing the PWR SET and setting the output
to say 5W and then holding tune, it does calibrate 5W for that
specific band that I'm
Well DUH! I forgot to enable CONFIG:TECH MD. Once done the calibration ran
like a champ.

I'm getting an error message and the calibration fails. I am communicating
fine with the K3. The message is "Unexpected response "d...@nqr@008AE" to
"DS" State 41. The "AE" are different characters than I can type here but
the closest I can come to them. Any ideas?
