Hello, Rob or any others familiar with blendmath,
It's really an obstacle to comprehend the functions of blendmath.c.
Is there any explanation or any book introduction about the functions about
blendmath.c?
or the blendmath is done according any reference ?
Thanks.

I await the reasons why Jeff or anyone else should expend effort
on keeping and maintaining a gui (keystick) that has been broken
since v2.3x (approximately 6 years ago) -- if anyone used it
wouldn't they have noticed?
It doesn't seem productive or motivational to ask users wanting
a joints_axes

I see jerk limitation as very nice and important feature to have.
And I would go with

the problem was due to JAx. I see in both cas

I think it might just be that the GUIs are a finite and comprehensible problem.

If you can't fix it, you don't
Just a thought but keystick would be useful for testing if you have
graphics problems... I can't think of a reason to use mini. I'm glad to
test anything you need.

My contention (see

is that:
1) the mini gui does not work with distros using tk8.6

The official git repo is still git.linuxcnc.org, the github mirror is
just that - a mirror.

Has the github mirror become the official repo?
The source link on the new homepage directs to jepler's github mirror.
Is it OK to submit pull requests to it, or should the linuxcnc.org one be
used?
Thank you,

Sebastian,
Thank you for clarification.
I will take a look at the current state.
Am I correct in saying that I will need to do the following:
Build, test and perhaps fix the UI's on the master branch.
Backport this work into joints-axes branch, if any issues fix, and retest
on both branches.

I think you should make sure it compiles and runs with some fairly
standard sim configs, and that at least the basic features work (come

What would one need to do the required testing after the maintenance?
Thank you,

When I studied CAGD with Gerald Farin I learned that you can fair
splines with so little movement that they are well within the tolerance
of the measurements (one example limited the jerk and only moved the
control points 0.2"). So I would not put out modifying the
positions, but would abs
