It's acceptable for that standard, because the purchasers of the
products have technical knowledge, allowing them to determine if the
published degradations are acceptable for a given application. It
wouldn't work for consumer products, hence EN 55020.

7671 is a *UK interpretation* of HD384 and IEC 60364. Other
interpretations, significantly different, apply in other European
