Hi Gene,

So am I, but glx isn't working. Unsing 169.09 nvidia driver and 2.6.24 as

Dale, In most cases it is better just to write new ladder than to try and port
from one
system to another. I've been programming PLC's for longer than I can remember.
I
can assist if needed.
Basicly you need three things:
1 List of inputs
2 List of outputs
3 List of what you want to happen
Good to hear you got it running. Now you can go play. :-)

Gene,
I've tried out a number of the Intellicad clones and found that
Progesoft has a free version that they call 'ProgCAD Smart' that seems
to work under the Wine emulator here.
Here a URL for it:

Not a the moment.
Many folks (me among them) believe that you really need quite a few
counts per revolution to make
John,
I will make the list in the next 2 or 3 weeks. By then I will finish reading
HAL/Classic Ladder and then start the PLC program. If I have problems can I get
some help from you?
Thank you for the assistance

If I added pulses can it be done? My encoder is just a homebuilt opto
switch. Cutting out a new wheel with more slots/holes would be trivial.
Can EMC thread with just one train of pulses? Ie use just one pin of
the parallel port?
