I tried to change versions from 2.5 master to 2.6.5 on an linuxcnc
installation and noticed a regression. The radiobutton does not select its
iniital value on startup. I have not yet looked into the other pyvcp
widgets to check if the same problem exists with them too.
I am using a pvcp ba
19th and 20th of October would be a good time for me too.

if estop is generated through the estop chain, then you do not loose

problem. The 5i25 now loads fine together with the 7i77.

why is the linux pp driver important with the pci parallel port card ? I
mean I have disabled the parport_pc, parport, ppdev and lp modules in
/etc/modprobe.d/emc2, so these pci parallel ports do not get claimed by
the linux pp driver at all. Or am I missing something ?

To summarize: I should be ok as long as I use a <2 feet parallel port
cable with either a SUN1888 or Oxford PCI952 card and a 7i43 rev. C.

then the password "should" be what you entered when you installed Ubuntu.
Have you finished the installation and has the computer rebooted or are
you really "in the process of installing it" ?
