Any filter recommendations/feedback for a 70-200L IS? I wanted to get

I've made 20x30 prints from my Mark II and from the looks of it I could go
larger with no problem.

One Model Place galleries. When I do that I always wind up with a bunch of
files with meaningless names. So when I'm putting files from different
events into one consolidated directory for some reason I always prepend the
files with a better descriptor. Not for fear of having duplicates bu
t renaming your files or your gonna have plenty
of similar problems ahead.

The rechargeable batteries have died in some things that I own, some are
even camera related. Do you have any recommendations for places to buy new
batteries and even individual solder-tab cells so I can rebuild the battery

Peanut Optical Slaves along with a hot shoe adapter with PC connector. I
assumed that all I had to do is plug the Peanut into the hot shoe adapter
and when one flash fires the Wein optical slave will fire the connected
flash.

Alex is correct. You'll need to put the 550(s) in manual mode to meter or
the E-TTL preflash will trip the meter and give you incorrect readings. I've
done it quite a few times and it works just as well as with my Alien Bees.

The Canon EF (the old FD camera) had a very easy to use mirror lock up
feature, you could set the self timer then when you pushed the shutter
button the mirror locked up and ten seconds later the shot was taken and the
mirror came back down.

get the other scale to register as the right exposure. Has
anyone ever used the program shift function in the program mode? I do not
normally use the straight program mode, but I was curious about these
issues if I ever wanted to. The users manual is pretty vague on this issue.

modes with picture icons. It doesn't with P
