I also own a 2013 LEAF with the pack upgraded to 62 kWh by EVRides LLC.
I would not advocate for a leaf as you’ll never get bolt range due to lack of
thermal battery conditioning. My wife’s bolt will always kick my leaf’s butt
and it can’t be traced to a 3 kWh pa

My 2020 allows me charging options, similar to my 2013 LEAF. We set our
preferences on the car (home charging option) to give it 80% for long life. But
if we ever have a long road trip in it, the _away_charging option in the car is
set for 100%. You need to set it up so that it recognizes where
Leaf drivers like me are excited to see 3rd party entities upgrade 24 kWh packs
to 62. We’re hoping nissan will have the last laugh and come to the dance with
its own upgrade.
