Since my spell problem with evo 1.2, I've upgraded my system to RH8.0,
but I went through my system backup from my RH7.1 and I did have a
~/.gconfd/lock/ior but no ~/.gconf/%gconf-xml-backend.lock/ior. I don't
know how to tell if they were stale or not, but maybe this was the cause

A difference I'm seeing between my system (RH7.1, spelling broken) and
what's posted here and another thread is that I have
aspell-0.33.7.1-ximian.2 and the ones that work have aspell-0.33.7.1-9.
Maybe the ximian version is broken? I'm running the full Ximian desktop.

I just did all the upgrades in the Ximian desktop channel for my RH7.1
system. Spell checking no longer works in evolution. If I go to
tools->settings->composer preferences, there are no languages listed in
the spell checer tab. I have

Evo 1.0.5, Rh7.1, nautilus 1.0.6, all updates done with red carpet.
Drag and drop of files to attach from nautilus to evolution compose
window seems to not work if there's a # sign in the file name. Doesn't
work from gmc either. The error from gmc says the file does not exist

This happens to me occasionally (hardly ever), too. It seems I have to
go to a different folder and back again before I can delete the left
over message. I suppose it could be a new mail comes in during the
expunge process.

It still seems broken. I did a "Body or subject contains" search for
"16627" in the folder containing this message and got no match
Dragging and dropping files from nautilus to evolution compose works
nicely and the fancy select operations work in nautilus.

Rh7.1 I had similar experience. Went back to the evolution on the gnome
desktop channel (seems like a lot of broken stuff in the last few snaps)
and contacts was blank. A sub-folder of contacts did show OK but the
main contacts folder was blank. I went back to snap 200110181519 ( a

The horizontal button bar goes blank after changing mail folders. It
shows up at first, but blanks and stays blank after the first folder

I closed evolution and did killev and now it's working. I had tried this

I had apparent success by installing the evolution snaps and then
individually selecting all the desktop upgrades. Red carpet didn't

skypilot theme because it has darker shades, especially the backgrounds. Is
there a way to set the background color in evolution? White backgrounds are so
