IIRC Outlook in cached mode automatically updates the offline address book
on the client every 24 hours. The 24-hour time period is measured from the
time that the offline address book was last downloaded successfully on that
client. For example, if you complete an offline address book download at
It also depends on when you started outlook. Outlook checks first about 10
minutes after it's been started.

I'm going to have to ask for forgiveness. It apparently got pulled before SP1

We've not had any luck with this one. Tried touchdown and Improved email.

Originally it only affected our Droid 2 users, but since the 2.2 update now our
original Droid users and it sounds like possibly some others are seeing this.

I've not had any problems yet, but I've only installed it at about ½ dozen

You can probably find all the links you need off my blog post on the topic:

If you don't run the forestprep yourself, it'll happen automatically - but it
will be done before the install proceeds.
I typically do the forestprep in the same site as the schema master - instead
of moving it. But whatever works for you. :)

I replied for retention policies already. You mean for managed folders?
You do it with New-ManageContentSettings and/or Set-ManagedContentSettigs. For
example:
Set-ManagedContentSettings -AddressForJournaling
'smithcons.local/Users/j-and-m' -JournalingEnabled $true -Identity 'Inbox-999'
Did you check that one log file and see what you got?
