Im having problems dual booting mandrake with win2000. It can boot in
linu or 2000, but it defaults in to linux if you dont scroll down and
select windows2000. Do you klnow of a way where the boot screen can
default to windows2000. It boots into a linux gui first and then it
lists the O/S

I have several machines with Mandrake 8.0. On the newer ones, netscape
works fine, but on the older PII-300 I am getting bus errors and netscape
won't load. This is with the standard netscape-comminicator-4.77-4mdk
which is shipped with the system.
Any ideas?

There has been support for wireless (802.11) PCMCIA cards for years. Its

outlined below. I found this in the KDE buglist...
In my 8.0 installation, the location /etc/localtime was a directory
which appeared to be a copy of /usr/share/zoneinfo. The buglist
suggested moving /etc/localtime to /etc/

lpq - to show what jobs are in the queue
cancel [job id] - to kill the job
