I run a Kodak DC210 Zoom its listed in the Gphoto setup. I have had no
problems with it. I even managed to have it fall off the roof of a car and it

Easiest way is to create the file it is looking for...
I have done that many times in the past, or you can modify the logrotate to
not look for it..
easier to just create the file since it won't contain anything, it doesn't
matter.

From looking at the archives it seems, like me, many people are having
problems with kmix. One suggestion I saw said to use sndconfig to
reconfigure sound. I did this in a virtual console before logging in at
KDM and once logged in kmix worked like a charm. One reboot later though
and it's broken

text option, but the messages show only the text and some colored
backgrounds, but never any pictures or other graphics. No

Do you feel comfortable enough to download it from Netscape.com? Although

I D/L'd the Netscape.com version, and the install routine went flakey twice.
I found the 4.78 RPM at rpmfind.net-that installed no problem.
The 4.78 version is significanlty more stable on my MDK7.2 laptop than the
earlier 4.x version that came with 7.2
Font rendering seems much improved too..
Which version of gcc do you have installed?
I compile with gcc-2.96.x .
But I have egcs installed too. Check wich version returns kgcc -v

From what you've told me below, the mouse driver is unable to find the

This could be either due to a hardware conflict, or again to bad RPM's
