No That was not the problem, I just reflash the BIOS to BP6RU125.bin BIOS,
and the problem is still here. I think it has something to do with the
/etc/rc.d/rc.sysinit fle in Mandrake 7.2, because that is the file that sets
the time at boot up.

Well this depends on the version of dos that you load partition magic with.
I use the dos version from Windows 98se, and then I use PM to work 20 + GB
hard drives with no problem.

Both 7.0-2 and 7.1 versions run great on my LapTop thinkpad with the NeoMagic
graphics card installed. Actually Mandrake 7.1 works the best, because it also
found my sound card, which no other version of Linux would do.
