I've been trying to figure out how to swap the Control and Caps_Lock keys
in X. (I already have been able to do this for the console screen.) The
docs and manpages say this is done with xmodmap as in:
/usr/X11R6/bin/xmodmap -display localhost:0.0 /etc/xmodmaprc
other Netscapes
I have used. But not this one in Mandrake 7.1. Instead it keeps
default-loading one of the first pages I visited many sessions and several
days ago. Additional note: the box under "Home page" and next to
"Location" is blank, always has been.

Netscape is incredibly slow getting started on my box too. After the
first time loading, though, it's okay. Linux itself is incredibly fast.
Sure, this is a 650MHz Athlon, so it ought to be fast. Don't know what
the problem is with Netscape though.
