I a so sorry to hear of Tiggies passing.
My heart goes out to you.

Hi Sandra, We live in a little town called Jimena de la Frontera, about a 1/2 hour up in the hills behind Gibraltar. We just lost our dear cat, Tiggie, to FELV, and are going to have our other 2 cats tested this week. We found something called Transfer Factor Plus, also flax oil and cottage
Keep in mind that on retest, the kittens may go negative - I've forgotten
the time to retest - seems like it's 60-90 days.

Keep in mind
Someone put this on the FIV group - he is cute - he purrs when you pet his
chest with the cursor and chases it when it's above his head

Thanks, Tonya. That does make me feel a little better. She only vomited
right after eating. She then wanted to be fed again!
I have not fed her for about 10 hours now. I think I am going to wait until
the morning. So you think if she vomits after getting a little food in the
morning I
I once trapped a stray that threw up EVERY time he ate unless I just gave him little bits. He would just scarf down the food so quickly (whole) he would throw it up.Most of my cats throw up pretty frequently. Usually it's due to a hairball. You don't always see the hairball right away, but
I'm vegan so the only meat products I have are for my cats, and chicken
broth hasn't been something I have thought to stock. A lot of vet websites
on vomiting say to fast for 24 hours. I don't know if she has been drinking, but
if she has she has not been vomiting it. She does not seem
I couldn't remember if you ate meat or not. I don't have any chicken soup either.Fasting for 24 hours should be ok.I know with people it's fine, andI've waited 24 hours with cats when it's diarrhea. I just think if it's been 10 and she hasn't thrown up she should be ok to have a taste
Ah, but that was Patches who just had surgery last week. Lucy had bladder
surgery over 2 months ago. It has been anything but boring here,
unfortunately.
So did your ibd guy throw up repeatedly and only stop with reglan? How long
would you have to give him reglan for, and could you tell
I'm sorry. I confused the two. Does Lucy have ibd that you know of or just the bladder problems? My ibd cat who threw up (the others had diarrhea) just did it every once in a while. I never could really attribute it to anything out of the ordinary. He had kidney disease and was on
Michelle,
I just wrote you off-list about Lucy. I said alot of the same things
Tonya did. As far as the broth... if you have some raw turkey, or
chicken, toss it in a small sauce pan with some filtered water and boil
it until you make a weak broth for her. That will be better than a
canned
None of the ferals I help and neither of my inside
cats will touch canned or boxed broth. there are too many additives I
guess but they will eat several day old dry food instead.
If you have men who will exclude any of God's
creatures
from the shelter of compassion and pity, you
Michelle,
Thank you for posting your poem. It's beautiful and, of course, it made
me cry.
