Maynard is doing a lot better. We switched him back to Baytril which he gets
orally now and everything is ok, no seizures and his overall condition started
to improve-he is still coughing a bit and occasionally sneezes, but his apetite
is enormous, his eyes cleared out and he wants to play now!:

I am new to this list and to the world of Feline Leukemia. We have 3
precious cats, and we found out at the end of last year that two are FeLV
positive, and of those two, one is FIP positive as well :(
Details:
Kitty1 (11 years old, male) is the

Q1. I want to start Kitty1 on some form of treatment, just to build him up/keep
him strong. I have the sense that all is not 100%, even although he is not
noticeably unwell, is eating fine etc. I was thinking of asking our vet to
start Interfero
I had my Dublin to the vet today for full bloodwork. Though I only heard
the results on the phone, it apparently looked pretty good. His red blood
cells were just below the normal range (29 with 30 as the low end of
normal) -- the vet is going to research the protocols for helping to bring
it up
If he is drinking a lot, maybe look into diabetes. I have it and it tends to
make you real thirsty sometimes. Wht about urinry tract poblems like sturvte
crystals. Does he urinate out of is box? And how much urine does he pass?
Homey has a reoccurring problem with the crystals ad I keep tra
auses that.
I hope Dublin has a good check-up.

My experience was 4 years ago but I remember like it was yesterday. Junior
ran on and off high fevers. As high as 106.5. It was actually probably early
stage for him. I decided to do the immunoregulin protocol. It kicked the

Just as another side to the stress story ... when I found Bailey at 5
months of age, he was FeLV+, him and my 4 others at that time traveled
for 3 months in a semi truck when I decided to move back to Washington
from Missouri. All 5 cats, hubby and me and all the stuff we brought
with us wer

needed by a FeLV kitty. It really sounds like you are in a better position to
provide the care Brie needs to enjoy however much time she has.
