David Fenton suggested that I use the Maestro symbol 174/39 for the dagger symbol, which really looks great. The only issue I'm having is when I need symbol this UNDER notes, such as middle "C," the symbol doesn't get placed *under* the note. I looked at the edit dialogue box, and despite several

Would anyone have a suggestion for the "dagger" symbol (typically a long line drawn over a note in 18th century manuscripts)? I've been using symbol #50 (the beveled triangle symbols), but I think it's too small when printed and it looks very similiar to a staccato symbol. And it's just too small.

It hasn't, and apparently won't any time soon, according to mac support. I suggested MM provide a comprehensive list of such things to them a while back and was told there were too many things to possibly list them all. *Someone* has to have that information, don't they? Don't most programs incl

Actually, cmd-opt-` (the Fin2005 shortcut) *is* reserved by OS X.Cmd-E is a lot easier to reach than cmd-opt-` anyway. Why, oh why is page/scroll view now allocated in 2006 to control E?!!  Surely a logical choice would have been 'E'nharmonic spelling. Toggling from scroll to page view has been wired to Ctrl-E as long as  I've been using Finale. Perhaps this is a change to on the Mac side  to bring it into harmon
