Hello, Finale List:
I'm wondering if anyone here has ever found a way to simulate a flute's
breath tones or wind tones with the Garritan sounds?
Thanks,

Hi Finale List!
I have recently started to work with Rachmaninov's B minor prelude (Op.
32, No. 10). It features a LOT of triplets, and the one that is giving
me the biggest problem is the opening motive of dotted 8th-16th-8th as a
triplet covering one quarter note beat. The note durations all
Hi all:
I upgraded my laptop from Win7 to Win10 a few months ago, and haven't
had much time to work with Finale until the other day. To my annoyance,
the playback shortcut of using the space bar to start playback anywhere
no longer works (which is a problem for me). I still run an old version
Yeah. I have the same problem. It has selective hearing for the KS
markings which pisses me off sometimes. It does what it wants, when it
wants.

I think there was a misunderstanding. You need to put "3+3+2+3+2" ALL in
the same first box on the top line, and the 8 in the first box on the
bottom line. I've done this lots of times.

Hi all:
I seem to have run into a problem getting Finale to play back after a
certain point. I am working on a full-orchestra score that currently
sits at just shy of 190 measures of music. I frequently set the start

Hi all!
I'm starting work on a concerto score, and I am having a bit of a snag
with score order. The score includes the following instruments:
Solo cor anglais
timpani
1 percussion
harp
violins 1 and 2
violas
cellos
basses
2 solo violins
solo viola
2 solo celli
Here's my guess:
timpani

Wondering if anyone has any success using the Hauptwerk Virtual Pipe
Organ VST from within Finale ... and if so, how the hell do you do it?
The documentation with Hauptwerk is insanely confusing.

When you set the time signature, don't set it as three quarter notes,

My guess would be to download an actual IPA font and use it. It would
