Trying to resize the solo line in a solo/piano score… Finale 2011, Mac. I’m
following the directions carefully and it’s not happening… tried it both in
scroll and in page (conflicting directions old manual and internet). Neither
works.
Help, anyone?
Thanks, Katherine

Thanks for the info. I woke up in the middle of the night with the idea that
holding the part to pitch and going up a 6th to Eb just might come out to C, or
no signature... and this morning I found it did, just as Ryan suggested.

Dear finalelist -
I'm trying to send 9x12 pdf's to the printing company. The pdf won't accept my
size 9 x 12... and the custom tag does nothing. I believe I've sent 9 x 12

simply converting the pages to legal, so
the two
parts linked on the score which may prevent this...

For years I have been inputting with my right hand on a keyboard and my left
hand on the computer giving the note length (quarter, eighth etc.) The program
would automatically format the bars as soon as I finished. In 2011 it will
often NOT do this formatting, and I've tried numerous ways of
I might mention that this piece has constant time signature changes... which -
again - never caused this problem in previous versions.

Thanks to finalelist, my problem is indeed solved. As some of you

they show on the score. All my footnotes about special fingerings
