Can someone explain what the trick is to get the latest version of ARIA Player
to recognize GPO4 and JABB3?
I’ve followed the
instrument libraries show up as options in Finale 2014.5,
but the instrument samples don’t load.
I’ve also tried directing ARIA (latest version) to my Applications folder,
which contains the “Garritan Jazz and Big Band 3” and “Garritan Personal
Orchestra 4” folders. These libraries then show up
Finale seems to default to whatever the last audio driver installation there
was. I have used Soundflower for ages, but and that messed things up. I
uninstalled it but I also run Audio Hijack and Instant On, and that confused
Finale too!

I've got a lot of compatibility issues in Windows 10. I have to make sure
everytime that it's run in Administrator mode. Besides that, it seems to
work quite ok, have not experienced anything really strange yet.

I notice the Finale-employees who are members of this list are
noticeably quiet these days. I would think they would be jumping in to
offer solutions to these new problems that are cropping up.
Definitely troubling that such things weren't discovered in beta testing
of this new half-version.

versa through audio unit), if you don’t have particular audio needs.

If you do go back to Fin14, it's worth remembering that you can fire up
Fin14.5 at any time and work on the same file without conversion. You may
want to consider doing this when you get to preparing linked parts. Fin14.5

Yes, it is a mixed bag. So far, the biggest problem I have seen is that
it knocks out VST playback after doing an export to WAV. I have to
restart Finale to get sound going again.

After some confusion, you discover you have to click on "*learn
