[Finale] Commas after word extensions?

Finale 2011, Windows. I'd like have punctuation marks follow word extensions in lyrics (i.e. "line ends with this word_,") , but Finale seems to really wants to keep commas etc. attached to the word before and have the word extension follow the punctuation mark. Obviously I'm miss

Putting the punctuation after the word extension is sufficiently non-standard that I'm really not surprised that Finale doesn't support the practice. But I'd add to Steve Parker's workarounds, hard-coding word extensions using the underscore (_) character, and place the punctuation at the end o

As a matter of fact, the comma _after_ the word extension is not only more logical, as Daniel has pointed out, but also standard practice in Bärenreiter's Telemann Edition (which is what I happen to have open at the moment) and (probably) also the NBA (the publications, not the teams!). So it wo
