Are these just more tempo expressions that would print on all parts if
using a staff list, or are they expressions assigned to individual staves,
like the Technique Text?

I have a solo with piano piece. Finale is playing back the solo line with
swing eighth notes, but with straight eighths for the piano. It should all
be straight.
How does this happen? I've check all the expressions, and none of them have
any playback definitions assigned for swing.

Just make a copy of your original Swing expression, change the text
style to invisible so it won't print, and place it at the same point
your tempo change occurs. Just as easy as using a staff style.

My problem arose when I needed to change the tempo. The new text

If any of you have not already noticed, since Panther came out FONT BOOK will install any PC font directly to the system by double-clicking the font. Up will pop FONT BOOK with a button on the window to INSTALL the font. No more converting PC fonts to OS X!

I sent him SEVERAL emails, and got NO REPLIES.
I ended up using a font utility called FONT LAB to convert the font to
