Hi Steve: The vet did 2 injections, day 1 and 2 but didn't do a 3rd day.
I think the problem with the injections not working were 2 fold. The
first being the foal was in splints, which were restricting him from

problem and can't really say anything particular that causes it. I've

Our white dun mare, FC Gwendellin, just had her first foal this evening, at
midnight!
We will not know for sure until tomorrow when the foal is dry and it is
daylight, but we believe she is a brown dun. And yes, she is a filly! A
special memory of my first foal (a B&W Paint), at the PtHA
Futurity Show. My goal was to show the foal in the futurity (as well as
give him experience at a show, trailing, staying over in strange places...),
and maybe do a dressage test with my mare. The foal was 5 months old and
not weaned
e time, was at
the very end of a lightly travelled road, leading to some very wide open
spaces. You would never want to take a foal out loose where there is
traffic or other hazards.
The first few rides were when Kasey (the foal) was about 3-4 weeks old.

We had our first foal last year ... an only foal at the time. But for the
first two weeks, he spent time with his mom, Orianna (he was her 10th foal
age no one needs to be stuck with the stallion
down the road, unless he is the perfect fit for their mare. I'll be anxious
to see your Samstein foal and your Hostar foal!, they are two I have
appreciated for a long time. Our Stein filly was lovely and it was a
pleasure to see her agai

But when someone is interested in purchasing it is easier for them to know
which foal is which if the mane is clipped differently or they are marked in
a special way.
