For some future release, a simple locut filter on the scope display
would make it easier to use at times.

Glad to hear that you are enjoying it Robert. The best is yet to come
however. This is an exciting business.

Hello everyone, I am a soon to be SDR-1000 user (it's on order). I have been
following the threads on this forum with great interest and have even been
reading a C# book when time permits (and I'm going to need a lot of time).
There has been some discussion lately about latency when using VOX.
It can be implemented in hardware and it should be along with the proper
keyer and sidetone where they both belong. We should be taking the CW
sidetone and doing demod/remod.
Thank you for being gentle with out ineptitude.

Could it be done in hardware? Absolutely. Would it be better than the
current solution, I doubt it. Mainly because you still have the issue
of detection + switching latency. Even if you detected the peak
instantly, you still have to wait for the hardware to switch from RX to
TX which takes on
Hi Jerry:
Could you please send me the code changes to get the sdr1000 panadapter
out to 96khz in release 15?
Thanks,

Just to throw in another incompatible opinion, I'm not sure there *is*
such a thing as proper VOX. I couldn't get it to work right on my rig in
1966 and I can't get it to work right on any rig today. By that standard
the current SDR1K VOX is doing fine ;-)

I'm getting relay clicking after about 1 second of going into tune.
Power drops 5watts or less and relay chatter continues. I've plugged
and unplugged and tested different version of software 1.4.4 1.4.5 P15
and the same thing happens. Just today I was finding the Tx going into

Hi Eric,
The AOR ARD-9000 digital voice box includes a built-in voice memory to allow a

In the ARD-9800 base station model, you had to key up and wait for the sync

I agree completeky but I don't think you went far enough. The

Going back to my 8080 machine code day's and older PC understandings.
Hardware IRQ's Priority is still for the Clock/Timer first, the Keyboard

higher. Maybe this can be used to input faster a key line. However the

Richard,
That is a very interesting approach. I didn't consider associating more
that one program with a predefined mode. Maybe the crux of the matter
is to do away with the predefined digital mode paradigm. By using a new
table in the database to store operating parameters and associate
