Well, at least that is one problem that I was going down the wrong path
on.
I thought it was RFI and have really been working to "cool" the shack down.
My efforts were not in vain, the tuner is having more success at doing its
thing.

I think that Phil is a bit busy right now with the
HPSDR stuff. He is making strides on that.
I suspect that when he catches his breath, he will
pursue vSOUND.
I am eager for it as well. I want to get going
on digital.
Phil turns out excellent work, it will be worth
waiting for.

As I understand it, the issue is not so much the media as it is the COA, or
"Certificate of Authenticity", which should be attached to the System.
Without the COA, I would question it's validity.

Philip What I don't like is the variability of it. The spacebar isn't
defined as a PTT key, It's what ever you last hit with the mouse. So if
you're in QSO and add your noise blanker or filter change or whatever
you must remember to go back and hit mox just before you want to xmit
again. I see
this a feature in my book.
i do not run vox and having the space bar as a PTT button is better than
pointing and clicking the mouse, in my humble opinion of course.
as a sidebar, i've tried to figure out how to get my griffin knob to act as
a PTT button, anyone know how to do this?

i would walk away from these types of deals as fast as i can.

This is one of those built-in functions of C# (and .NET in general). There
are default keyboard handlers that you get with the stock controls. Some
people like them, other people do not. Unfortunately, they are a real bear

Here is a item I don't know what to think of. My SDR friend pointed it

keyboard and it will repeat the mouse click. So click on a band and then

Guy's I don't quite understand why you say the memory controls are "
missing " .They were moved to a drop down menu called memory, right
above the stby/on switch. Now I agree that they should have remained
where they were, so as to simply click on save instead of having to use
the drop down. Je

I agree about the missing memory. I'm not sure why, but I understand
that the scanning function was removed due to some FCC requirement,
however why remove the user memory data too?
Otherwise, things are really shaping up with PowerSDR !
