Mike,
Excellent question! SVN stands for Subversion. It was created to replace
CVS which is a common versioning system that was the standard for software
developers for some time. However, SVN can handle much more than just

Jeff,
Thanks for the explanation. I'll try to get to the root of whether this can
be done in the synchronous detector itself or whether it makes sense to add
the SAM Lock detection similar (or copy+paste) from your console.
Provided that we can get the same performance from the detector itself i
Hi Eric,
Let me take a stab at explaining the reasoning behind
the SAM LOCK feature in my Console.
I sometimes frequent a West Coast AM net (there are
several), and without fail the carriers of the various
transmitters (being primarily boatanchors) are
scattered about the "official" net frequency

Right click on the root of the SVN folder. Select the menu option
"TortoiseSVN>"
Select Update to Revision. Click on Show log. Highlight the revision
you want to go to and click on OK.
The Update window now shows the revision number you selected and the

It now only clicks again in 'High' mode. Thanks.
I' ve made the setting RealTime, but will monitor the performance, as

Oh Yeah! It should always try to lock on the signal closest to the
tuned freq on the SDR in case there is another QSO up or down a few
kcs. That could be tricky since the desired signal may not always be
the one closest to the tuned center! You can only do so much however.

So the questions are:
1. How far do we want to be able to go to pull in/lock on to signals? 2kHz?
3kHz?
2. How far will the current SAM mode currently pull signals in? This should
be pretty easy to find out experimentally using the signal generator built
into the console.

The contemplation is mainly becausethis is what the Synchronous ('S' in

What I'd really like to do is to understand why SAM doesn't work like we'd

it to naturally sound like how the h

Zounds! Could it be audio resonance some where? It would take a lot of
current to move a 1/2" pipe, then again if its hanging free for a long
distance--. Let us know what happens to your sig after clamping the

Eric,
I guess I'm just confused on why a SAM lock feature would need so much
contemplation. We now have "Mode Specific controls". Why not just
add it to that panel when SAM mode is engaged? I suspect the code has
already been done by Jeff? I know there is only so much real estate

Good to hear it's on the todo list Eric! Thanks.

You shouldn't have to close the console. You should be able to click the
Power button to power off the rig. You can then turn off VOX or Disable PTT
to prevent the unit from returning to transmit mode as soon as you power it
back on.
We don't currently have any form of anti-vox in our software.
Have you tried changing the process priority (Setup Form -> General Tab ->
Options SubTab)?
