I have had a couple of opportunities to call for support on my SDR-1000 and
Flex-5000. I can't say enough good things about the support. My phone call
was answered right away and the support was very professional and very
helpful.

I have PowerSDR changing the SteppIR just fine via the computer's real
COM1, but how do I get the frequency information into Ham Radio Deluxe
as well? I can't have both the SteppIR and HRD using COM1, and even if I
use the Serial Splitter program (which costs significant $$$ after the

This happened spring 2006. After no response a few times I either posted
on the forum or emailed people at flex directly. There is nothing wrong
with your support and I never should have brought it up. I may have been
spam filtered or something at that time.

If you want to inhibit transmit on HF entirely, this can be done with
settings in the BandText table in the database. If you want to select
between enabling HF operation or not, you could create 2 separate
installations of PowerSDR in different directories, with separate desktop
icons for

Hello, All,
I got my Flex 5000 last week and have been having way too much fun ;)
I have been having a ball but have one question I haven't been able to
figure out [I had two questions, but I now know how to take off the
side covers ;) ]
