DDUTIL has a memory feature that was added a couple months ago. It memorizes
pretty much every thing that can be remembered from the CAT commands. So all
you have to do if you bump or click something is just "recal"l what was
memorized.

I have not done this particular set up, but when I owned an Orion I used Carl's
software that slaved either a TT 320 or a Pegasus to the Orion and it worked
great. I can highly recommend Carl's software.
I have wondered if DDUTIL would be able to speak enough Orion to be able to
link the two

Diversity is actually a bit different. Diversity relates to the idea that if
you get antennas far enough apart the signals they receive are no longer
coherent with each other. This means that the signal may be fading on one

Try checking what program in that set of programs sends audio to your PC audio
chain. Skimmer is able to send audio to the PC and I sometimes use that path
to send CW audio to my PC speakers while I'm in the shack goofing around. I
like to have the CW in the back ground and I can read the mail
I use a Radeon X1300 512mb card which has 2 outputs and fits in the PCI 16e
slot. The advantage of the version of this card I use is it has no fan. I
just use the Radeon drivers and use Windows to run the extended desktop and not
the bloatware Radeon application

I believe the preselector in the flex is already I2C (aka flexwire) aware.

RFI issues are generally a common mode issue on the feedline of the antenna.
Next your ground should be a star ground not a pipe or strap running around the
shack. It doesn't matter if its 6 inches wide if the ground is a high

This solution was just figured out a few days ago, and I'm sure all the boys
who update the bug tracker are out at Dayton as we speak repeating the mantra:

As far as updating .Net goes, I just let "Windo
Pretty Betty will not run unless you upgrade to .Net framework V3.51 (the
latest)

I work weak signal low band DX on CW
I use filters as narrow as 25hz routinely
I'm set up at 48khz DSP CW set at 4096 on RX 512 on TX. Audio buffs set at 512
The filters are noticeably steeper to the ear at these settings

Try running the antenna into RX1 and selecting RX1 antenna screen. If RX1
comes back to life you have a blown solid state relay on HFRIO (I think K1 but
don't quote me on that). Its not too hard to disassemble HFRIO from the
chassis and send it back, or Flex may just do a board swap with you (
