Any examples of raddb files to help me with?

Since I have only started working with FreeRadius, and have not touched a
radius file for 7 years, I have to say No, because I have no idea what your
asking.
I did do what it said to about getting rid of the old files no longer used
and enabling the /etc/passwd - /etc/shadow - /etc/group files.

The server does this out of the box.
The larger

Anyone have any examples or instruction to get this done. Right now we can
only get it to do either one, not both.
Meaning, PAP with /passwd/shadow files and CHAP with the mySQL files?
Any examples of raddb files to help me with?

It tried to send everyone to the mySQL database. Doesn't check the local at

I did not really want to run two radius on the same machine on different
ports if at all possible.
Other than this little snag, I have all my tools to work everything from the
command prompt. Add, Disable, Enable, Remove, etc..

So where in the radiusd.conf do I tell it to do this?
In the users file I have this and I'm sure this could be causing part of our
problem.
Might be wrong to have two default, does it need to be other?
DEFAULT Auth-Type = System
Fall-Through = 1
DEFAULT Auth-Type = Local
Fall-Through = 1
This is the error we are getting when a PAP user tries to log in. They are
in the passwd/shadow files.
Thread 1 handling request 0, (1 handled so far)
User-Name = username
User-Password = *
NAS-IP-Address = 65.169.xxx.x(Omitted)
NAS-Port = 31
I to was sent to that page saying this is what I needed to do, and passed it
on to stenmark. I did mention that I was told about this, but have not had
the chance to test it.
The big difference I asked almost the exact same help, and received no
replies except if I wanted to get help to get mine
My little understanding is that the user passwords or in the mySQL data base
so radius can do CHAP authentication because of needing the clear text. They
would still be added to the system files for email and the other services.
If you userdel them from the system files, the mySQL database is not
lost again
from what are you trying to achieve...

Here, try this see if this will work. This should be above the first DEFAULT
setting.
If your PAP
usernameService-Type = Framed-User
Simultaneous-Use = 1,
Framed-IP-Address = 65.169.223.181,
Fall-Through = Yes
IF CHAP
username
cost us more than I care to think about right now and have
almost no hair left to pull, and the eyes are getting more red as the days
pass. Had to put on glasses because it's becoming a blur. I'm spending 18
hours a day in front of this thing and have just about lost it.

This turns out to be a bit of trouble to maintain the list when users have
to be locked because of no payment or other things.
FreeRADIUS doesn't care. If you have a clear-text password in a
local database, it will do PAP/CHAP, or whatever else is in the
request.
