information from the V4L2 Wiki on linuxtv.org). However, for all my
attempts, mplayer refuses to playback live TV using DMA sound.

This is not a new problem, but I'm wondering if it could be worked
around if there were two versions of the plugins, one that somehow
massage the values from 64 to 32 bits (I assume that is the cause)?

I'm in the process of building the SVN snapshot of Freevo 2.0.
I found duplicate sets of files (e.g. Docs files, mbus.conf) under core/
and ui/. Not sure which should be the one to use. The setup.py script
will build both.

When configuring Freevo 2.0, it'll complain if mplayer is not found. I
realize this was the behavior for 1.5.x, but is it still a requirement
for 2.0?
Also, what's the implication if kaa.xine wasn't able to build?

install, I find that the python modules are scattered across
/usr/lib64/python2.4 and /usr/lib/python2.4 directories. Is this going
