Hello,
I'am strugling with my Epia-V1000 freevo-box and whatever I try it's
still not possible to play dvd's.
Mplayer is a bit more smooth than xine, but the difference is minimal.
When playing a dvd I see a CPU usage off 50% for xine and 45% for X...
I'am using Via's latest driver on

I'm having an issue with the recording function. After a short period of
time(less than three minutes), I start getting dropped audio frames and
video buffer full errors.
There is a problem with nehemiah CPU's with model 9 that

Any ideas how I can fix this?
Change your local_conf.py;
/usr/bin/mencoder -tv on:driver=v4l.etc
to
/usr/bin/mencoder tv:// -tv driver=v4l.etc

Someway that doesn't work and gives a very disturbed picture, maybe it's

Are you using any filter, during capture?
With those images not, I tryed mencoder's pp=lb, but that doesn't
improve.
The only options I use are
saturation=-25:hue=-35:contrast=0:brightness=-15
Because that
seems like filters working on

You don't even scale?
No, I attached my capture script. (I use a script so I don't have to
restart freevo everytime I change something)

I have used mkxvcd to make vcd's from my mpeg recordings. it should work

you can also look at my experimental mencoder divx2kvcd script:
Hello,
when I play a video smaller (witdh or height) than my screen resolution
(640x480) I see a small (5-20 pixels, depending on the difference in
size) bright blue bar.
In my local_config.py I've set OVERSCAN values for both x and y to 20

Hello,
I'am running freevo on my epia-V1000 for a few weeks now with ups and
downs.
whatever I do I can't play dvd's smoothly (xine) and recording with
mencoder/libavcodec_mpeg4 is imposible (99% cpu and 17fps).
I know this isn't freevo related, but maybe there's another epia-V user
who can help
