Some variables have been change

You can browse CVS, it should be under the runtime subdirectory.
I've made a copy in contrib/rpm, which should be the same file with a
different name.

Are you using the RPM or the tgz?
If you're using the tgz, you'll need to run 'python setup' to place it in
the correct directories, and then 'freevo setup' once to create
/etc/freevo/freevo.conf. This should be done for you by the RPM installer
(but may need to be
r/recorders for 1.4. At the rate we're going, I wonder if it's
easier to just convert the freevo representation (I believe using xawtv's
convention) into an absolute frequency and pass that to the various apps
(assuming they take frequency as an input).

NVidia binary drivers too.
Somehow it doesn't restore the VT (framebuffer) frequency properly.
This didn't occur with the previous binary drivers.
PS. In CVS snapshot, you can use 'freevo -fs' to start X for you.

they don't tell the users anything useful.
Also, the recent testfile stuff don't have the proper fxds for the Movies
files (should be fixed), and the Images CA-Coast.ssr file isn't recognized
anymore (need a new plugin?).

ess your local_conf.py in /etc/freevo had the line
SKIN_XML_FILE = 'blue_round2' uncommented. After you've installed from
the *tgz, there's a copy of local_conf.py in /usr/local/freevo which
took priority, so it worked.
