Hi folks, can you help with this one. please.
I installed a clean copy of 10.2 jaguar onto a reformatted hard disc. All
clean.
I had saved my internet preferences, for my client (mulberry)
The server connects whne I press connect. All settings are correct,
including an alternative dial up
does a driver exist for this cardbus card (for my g3 wallstreet)?
i've done a lot of googling around, but haven't found anything. it
doesn't seem to work with the apple firewire drivers by themselves.
thanks!
I used this card on a G3 Powerbook in OS9 without drivers - OK. I
also used it

Hello,
I have a similiar situation in a Lombard.
Bought a 30GB Hitachi drive to replace the 6GB original IBM.
When I start from 10.2 CD, I run Disk Utility to initialize the drive,
but the program doesn't see the drive.
No sight

Anyway, to make sure Xmas went OK I bought an Asante 1004AL wireless
11(b) router. Well, it works great, like everything else I've ever
got from Asante. I have some wire in my old plaster

Yes, most definitely make sure the connections are good. I installed a
40GB Hitachi recently and had to re-format a second time because the
drive connector came loose and would not get recognized by any piece of
software. Before closing up the machine, double and triple check BOTH
connections
I have this card on a g3 wall street and run it successfully on OS( and
10.1 and 10.2 now.
You should get an image of a card in the menu bar under OS10.2, but not 10.1
In OS9 an image of the card appears on the desktop.
In OS 9 there are two extensions which need to be switched on for firewire.
I have three dial up configurations, available to me in the 'locations',
and written into the network settings.
I tried to use the third, then discovered that its six digit password is
being overwritten, with the 8 digit one common to the other two
configurations.
I have tried using
I guess you read my update on this ...I rebooted in Os9 and then restarted
in OSX and the problem vanished. Restarting didn't do the trick.
I had the same Faxstf problem with OS10.1
I got round it somehow, but not with the modem centre. I remember
re-installing fax stf at some point before it
Yep Luis its a G3, and I am downloading the update now already , even as I
receive your message. Thanks.

In OS X, it should just work, without any drivers (mine does!). When

that you fully insert the card; you may need to apply a little pressure.

From my experience--
In my WS 266 (os 9.2.1) I note that my NewerTech pc card, like all my

careful, you may misseat it and even damage the cage--apply slight
pressure to keep it going in level but pulled up toward
Oh, was that a western Didital drive too? Because i've just ordered one. I
don't suppose its a firewire 800 is it?

OK, I tried the LW 8 extension, it practically nerfed my system, so I
rebooted with all extensions on and trimmed away the ones that I was sure I
didn't need. I now have a LaserWriter 300 Icon on my desktop, but I'm still
getting the same error message when I try to print.
