Hi,
Anyone out there have the dual battery charger by VST for the iBook?
Mine came w/o a manual, and I would like to 'cipher what these purty flinking
lights mean...
I searched for a webcite for VST (are they now Smartdisk?) but had no luck...
If not the entire manual, an explanation on how to

Don't worry.
You can buy a Panasonic mechanism as an upgrade for
your PowerBook.
It's cheaper than sending your DVD Drive to an Apple
dealer to get another LG one ;-)
Here's the link.

Hello all,
Does this exist?
Imagine: A small box that contains say two firewire 400 ports, two
firewire 800 ports, two USB 1.1, two USB 2.0 ports, a VGA port AND a
DVI port. This box plugs into the wall with included AC adapter for
power. . .and there's an antenna popping up the middle for
If it is going to be wireless! why all the connectors? that is defeating the
object i thought that ( wire - less !) meant that wireless.
you just have a receiver next to the internet connector (airport hub) and a
card in the mac no wires needed.
no need for connectors or cables if your little
AirPort Base Station already hosts USB, but only for printers. The main
problem here is that 802.11 is currently too slow to host FireWire 400,
800 and USB 2.0, let alone VGA and DVI... and if the transfers get
better, I'd rather have wireless transmitters built in devices, and not
shell out

What makes this little box wireless is that you no longer need ANY
cables connected to your laptop/home

The only thing about my idea that may be completely science fiction
would be the video side of it. . .or am I wrong? Is it possible to
have a wireless monitor? Who knows what the future will bring.
It's not that much science fiction... I've seen demonstrations of
prototype technology to send

Now there's an idea! Except that if the wireless transmitters are
built in to the devices. . .doesn't that mean you'll have to replace
all of your wired devices? :)
Yeah, and that'd be the first time... ;)
Along your lines of wireless video...

Any known hope for the ImageWriter II under PANTHER/CLASIC?
If not; Any Dot Matrix Printers that will work with

They all do that. Seriously. Common complaint,
